Fears of a crypto market crash in 2026 are intensifying as global debt levels soar and geopolitical tensions escalate. Robert Kiyosaki, investor and author of *Rich Dad’s Prophecy*, has reignited warnings from his 2002 book, arguing that unresolved systemic risks from the 2008 financial crisis could trigger a historic stock market collapse—with crypto assets likely to follow.

BlackRock’s recent liquidity crunch in a $26 billion private credit fund has added fuel to the fire. The firm paid out only half of $1.2 billion in redemption requests, sparking a 5% drop in its shares. Kiyosaki cites this as evidence of mounting stress in overleveraged financial institutions.

While the author accurately predicted Lehman Brothers’ 2008 downfall, analysts note his market timing remains inconsistent. The specter of contagion now looms over both traditional equities and digital assets.
